Every skin689 product is specifically formulated for targeted cosmetic improvement of the skin's appearance.
Our claim
To ensure the effectiveness of our products, we work closely with active ingredient specialists, dermatological institutes and laboratories, beauty salons in Switzerland, and other cosmetic professionals. As a small, independent brand, we maintain close contact with our customers. We incorporate their feedback in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams of dermatologists, R&D experts, and packaging specialists. This process results in effective new formulations made from proven active ingredients that meet our customers' needs – from efficacy to application and dosage.
Skin689's ambition to combine science with aesthetics in a dermatological approach is also reflected in the company name. The combination of the numbers 6, 8, and 9, which have positive connotations in Asian culture, creates a symmetry that is both clear and distinctive.

Our bottles are made of plastic. The high-quality airless system allows for easy dispensing of the cream and keeps it fresh for a long time – even without many preservatives. Unfortunately, we haven't yet found a more environmentally friendly solution.
For this reason, we have the amount of plastic we put into circulation collected and disposed of properly. This is done through local projects, creating valuable jobs in developing countries. Cleanhub monitors the implemented activities and measures the recovered quantities.
What does Cleanhub do?
CleanHub empowers companies to take immediate responsibility for their plastic footprint. Working in partnership with local communities, CleanHub facilitates the collection and safe processing of non-recyclable plastic. To ensure effectiveness, it has developed a track and trace technology that allows it to document how much plastic is collected and where it goes after processing.
CleanHub chooses recycling methods with the lowest possible environmental impact and uses its market position to enforce better working conditions for local workers.
What do plastic neutrality and plastic positivity mean?
Plastic neutrality means that for every amount of plastic that is produced, the same amount of plastic waste is recovered from the environment to be disposed of properly – either recycled or reused.
We are working with CleanHub to calculate our plastic footprint and reclaim the corresponding amount from the environment in countries like Indonesia and India, where large amounts of plastic waste end up uncontrolled in nature. In this way, we are doing our part to reduce the amount of plastic entering our oceans and support the development of local waste management infrastructure.
