1. Validity
The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed via our online shop. Our privacy policy can be found here.
2. Parties to the contract, existence of contract
The purchase contract is confirmed with skin689 AG.
By placing the products in the online shop, we make a binding offer to accept orders for these items. You can initially add products to the shopping cart without obligation and amend your entries at any time before submitting your binding order by using the editing tools provided for this purpose as explained during the order process. The contract is confirmed once you accept the offer for the goods placed in the shopping cart by clicking the place order button. Immediately after sending the order, you will receive a further confirmation by email.
3. Language of the contract, storing the specifics of the contract
Languages available for agreeing the contract are German and English. We do not store the specifics of the contract.
4. Delivery terms
Carriage costs are added to the product prices shown. You can find out more about carriage costs in the offers.
We only deliver by post. Unfortunately, it is not possible to collect the goods in person.
5. Payment
The following payment methods are normally available in our shop:
Prepayment
If you choose payment in advance, we will provide you with our bank details by separate email and despatch the goods upon receipt of payment.
Credit card
When you place your order, you also send us your credit card details. After confirming you as a legitimate cardholder, we will request your credit card provider to initiate the payment transaction immediately upon placing the order. The payment transaction is processed automatically by the credit card company and your card is charged.
PayPal
During the ordering process you will be redirected to the Paypal website. In order to pay the invoice amount via PayPal, you must have an account or create one, confirm your identity using your login details and confirm the payment instruction to us. Upon placing the order in the shop, we request PayPal to initiate the payment transaction. The payment transaction will be processed automatically by PayPal immediately after. You will see further instructions during the ordering process.
Invoice
In general, purchase on account is only possible from Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Liechtenstein.
We reserve the right to carry out checks. Specifically, this means that while processing personal data necessary for agreeing or performing a contract, skin689 AG may exchange data with the authorities as well as with companies entrusted with credit information or debt collection or transfer data over to them, where such exchange or transfer is for the purpose of checking creditworthiness or recovering debts. If this check results in a negative credit decision, purchase on account is not available.
6. Retention of title
The goods remain our property until payment has been received in full.
7. Damage in transport
If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please report such defects to the delivery company as soon as possible and contact us without delay. Failure to report damage or to contact us does not affect your legal rights nor enforcing them, particularly your warranty rights. However, it helps us make our own claims in turn against the carrier or the transport insurance.
8 Warranty and guarantees
Unless expressly agreed otherwise below, the legislation on liability for defects shall apply.
The deadline for making claims for defects in used goods is one year from delivery of the goods.
The above limits and shortened limits shall not apply to claims relating to damage caused by us, our legal representatives or other agents
– in the event of injury to life, limb or health,
– in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty as well as fraudulent intent,
– in the event of a breach of essential obligations under the contract, meeting which is a prerequisite for the proper performance of the contract and compliance with which the parties to the contract may routinely expect (material obligations).
– under a guarantee, where agreed or
– where the validity of the Product Liability Act is appropriate.

9. Liability
For claims based on damage caused by us, our legal representatives or other agents, we shall always be liable without limitation
– in the event of injury to life, limb or health,
– in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty,
– in the case of guarantee promises, where agreed, or
– where the validity of the Product Liability Act is appropriate.
– in the event of a breach of essential obligations under the contract, meeting which is a prerequisite for the proper performance of the contract and compliance with which the parties to the contract may routinely expect (material obligations) due to minor negligence on our part, on the part of our legal representatives or other agents, the amount of liability shall be limited to the damage foreseeable at the time of agreeing the contract and which might typically be expected. All other claims for damages are void.
10. Dispute resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which you can find at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
We are not obliged or willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure with a consumer arbitration board.
